Alan is the founder and president of QED Consulting. He works with organisations primarily in the areas of leadership, values, culture and change, drawing on his extensive expertise in global diversity, ethics and conflict resolution.
Alan is a recognised pioneer in the areas of diversity and ethics. He created the award-winning Global Diversity Game, a diversity training tool. He also co-authored the Global Diversity & Inclusion Benchmarks and the Global Ethics & Integrity Benchmarks and co-created the Global Diversity Survey and the Global Gender Intelligence Assessment.
Alan has consulted with global organisations including CERN, the UN and WHO, and Fortune500 companies such as EY, GE, JPMorgan Chase, KPMG, MetLife, Sony, Unilever and others.
Alan has an MA and a BAB Sc. from the University of Cape Town, and a PhD in Philosophy from Birkbeck College, London University. He is based in New York, United States.
