Overview

Shweta works on Executive Searches within international development with a focus on international NGOs, multilateral organisations and development consultancies. She has over 17 years of experience in retained Executive Search and in-house leadership recruitment in the private sector.

Before SRI she led the Executive Recruiting function for several Amazon businesses, with a focus on the busy and scaling growth of AWS (Amazon’s Web Services business) hiring several directors and VP’s each year in India and across several countries in the Asia Pacific region. She collaborated with global, APAC and India Business leaders and their HR business partners in identifying and defining current & future leadership needs, including forecasting for attrition and changing market conditions to design and execute integrated talent strategies.

An experienced project manager, she was one of the founding members of Spencer Stuart’s India practice which she helped grow to a 30+ member team across 3 offices over 11 years. She specialised in executing C-suite placements in the Technology, Communications and Telecom industries across all functions. She was also a key member of the HR Officer and the Information Officer practices supporting all Industry practice leaders.

She has a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration and business management from Mangalore University.
