Overview

Seamus McGardle is a Co-Founder of SRI Executive. He helped establish the firm and played a leading role in building its Search, Leadership and Strategy practices. Throughout his time with SRI, Seamus supported leaders of more than 200 global development organisations, drawing on 25 years of senior management experience, deep sector expertise, and an extensive network of senior executives. He regularly advised clients on executive appointments, leadership effectiveness, and strategic direction.

Before co-founding SRI Executive, Seamus was Managing Director of Guinness, where he led a dynamic and diverse team across 46 countries. He spent 10 years living and working in East and West Africa and the UK. Earlier in his career, he worked with Akzo Pharma as a Manufacturing Manager in Ireland and the UK.

Seamus is known for a balanced leadership style that combines diplomacy with a personable and approachable manner. His commitment to building long-term partnerships and helping organisations identify and develop exceptional leaders has contributed significantly to SRI’s growth and reputation.

Seamus holds a BSc in Chemistry, a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and a BA in Industrial Relations from University College Dublin. He also completed General Management studies at INSEAD.
