Human Resource Manager

SRI Executive is a global Executive Search, Leadership and Strategy consulting practice that has specialised in international development for over 20 years. We have partnered with most of the world’s leading international development organisations to place, coach and develop exceptional leaders and co-create future-ready strategies that lead to impact.

We have experienced significant growth in recent years and we now employ 60 people across 5 continents. This role will be based in our Dublin headquarters, which employs 20 people, but will have significant flexibility to work remotely, as is the case for all our staff.

As a result of this growth, we are looking for a skilled HR Manager who will recruit, support, and develop talent by implementing best-practice policies and managing procedures. You will contribute to making the company a better place to work.

The goal will be to provide excellent HR advice, assistance and support to employees and managers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with leaders to develop and implement HR plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment, including the management of a seamless internal hiring and onboarding process.
  • Review and analyse data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
  • Provide management coaching to build leadership capabilities to address and resolve employee issues.
  • Facilitate annual talent review, promotion review and compensation review.
  • Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues ensuring a balance in representing all parties’ interests.
  • Partner with international colleagues to support them and ensure seamless integration into the overall team.
  • Assess team and individual training needs and develop training plans in collaboration with line managers.
  • Develop, implement, administer and maintain a fully up to date suite of relevant policies/programs/procedures.
  • Partner with managers to retain, develop and motivate them and their people to achieve their fullest potential.
  • Strengthen company’s culture and value through all types of programs and activities, develop employee communication channels, strengthen employee engagement.
  • Manage the benefits structure for the business for all team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree at a minimum.
  • 5+ years of strong HR professional, progressive experience is required, at least 3 years in a “smart” business in a HR leadership role.
  • Experience partnering with multiple business leaders in a fast-paced business setting which is in high growth mode.
  • Strong business partnering skills and HR acumen, including problem solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative, as well as project management abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach managers to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment with strong multitasking skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner with different levels of an organisation.
  • Good people data analytic skills, experience in MS office especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to travel, as appropriate.

About Our Strategy Practice

SRI Executive’s Strategy Practice is a growing team that offers rewarding and intellectually challenging work. Through our practice, we support the creation of successful and fit-for-purpose strategies and effective organisational development processes with leading international development agencies, foundations and INGOs, including several highly complex member-based organisations, to maximise their social impact. Our clients include Fairtrade International, the Hewlett Foundation, FLOCERT, WWF Zambia, RAMSAR Convention on Wetlands, the Global Innovation Fund, and the Green Climate Fund.

We are a global team operating in over 20 locations globally. While we are headquartered in Dublin, many of our consultants work remotely; our Strategy team currently has team members based in Europe and the US.

The Role

We are currently seeking to hire a full-time permanent Consultant to join our Strategy Practice. The Consultant will play a central role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. They will support Senior Consultants in the management, delivery and facilitation of projects and proactively build subject matter and technical expertise for our clients.

The Strategy Consultant’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research and analysis, including landscape mapping, market research and stakeholder consultations
  • Providing inputs to methodological approaches
  • Designing and delivering data collection approaches
  • Designing and developing client-ready reports or presentations, both written and oral
  • Manage one or multiple work streams and produce quality deliverable against tight deadlines
  • Supporting senior consultants as a facilitator in workshops, focus groups and meetings
  • Supporting project management, client relationship management and proposal development
  • Contributing to the development of internal processes and practices and keeping up to date with key developments within the sector

Experience required:

We are looking for our new team member to bring experience in:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in management or strategy consulting, social innovation or a similar type of private sector experience; ideally with some experience of working in an international organisation
  • Advanced degree in political science, public policy, international relations, economics, statistics or related field (desirable)
  • Strategy advisory, including strategy development, stakeholder and landscape research and analysis, and organisational development
  • Qualitative and quantitative research methods, including desk research, focus groups, interviews, and surveys
  • Analysis and drawing insights from data to build impactful, strategic recommendations
  • Drafting of high-quality presentations and reports with strong oral communication skills
  • Facilitation of workshops and meetings and delivering presentations to clients
  • Project management: tools and processes (desirable)
  • Statistical software and tools (an advantage)

Executive Search Consultant

About the Role

The role gives you the opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of an executive search process, working with our clients at both national and international levels. You will engage with them to fully understand their specific hiring requirements and leverage our market knowledge and extensive networks to source and identify their talent needs. Working with our team, you will grow our brand internationally, supported by a global team.

As a Consultant, your work will include client lead generation and pitch preparation; undertake client needs assessment and understand client culture and values; develop search timeline and search launch process; develop and select a pipeline of candidates for a wide portfolio of searches through sourcing, in-depth selection process and dedicated client management.
