This week, SRI Executive and everywoman attended an event hosted by the Irish Ambassador, Daniel Mulhall in the Irish Embassy in London, where Professor Eileen Drew from the Center for Women in Science & Engineering Research, Trinity College Dublin presented the findings of her research commissioned by SRI Executive on Mitigating the Fall Out of Women in the Workplace. Former Irish politician, Mary Harney also spoke at the event, discussing the importance of gender diversity in executive positions.
The event also provided an opportunity to announce some exciting news, as SRI Executive is delighted to partner with everywoman. The everywoman organisation drives the development of women in business and was established in 1999 by Karen Gill MBE and Maxine Benson MBE. SRI Executive has a strong stance on gender diversity in executive positions, with 48% of candidates placed by SRI Executive in the past year being female. We look forward to developing our relationship with everywoman in the future.
