The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) has officially appointed Dr. Frank Rijsberman as Director-General. Frank will commence his four-year term, leading the Seoul-based international organization from the 1st of October 2016.
SRI Executive are pleased and proud of the search, selection and assistance we provided for the GGGI in working this role. Having sought and placed such an excellent candidate in Dr. Rijsberman in succession to Yvo de Boer, Director General from April 15, 2014, is truly an honour for our team.
The search was a rewarding experience, and we are glad to have gotten to work with the GGGI team again for the Director General role, since placing Mr. de Boer himself and a further contingent of roles between these times.
We extend our greatest congratulations to both Dr. Frank Rijsberman and GGGI, and wish them both the very best in their future endeavours to support developing countries to achieve their economic growth ambitions while reducing poverty and minimizing the environmental impact.
Frank brings a deep wealth of experience to his new position, with many years of leadership, multi-stakeholder and sustainable development positions throughout Europe, the USA and Asia, and most recently; holding the position of CEO for the Consultative Group for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) Consortium.
All at SRI Executive hope that you join us in congratulating both parties on an excellent appointment and wishing many successes to them, and the outgoing Yvo de Boer.
